The staff of the International Relations Office at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (CULS) is happy to welcome applicants for exchange student programmes from around the world. It is our aim to make your studies in the Czech Republic as profitable and rewarding as possible. We are always ready to provide you with help and assistance. Here is some initial information:
Students who are applying through the EU mobility programme LLP ERASMUS must be nominated by their home university in order to be admitted for study at the CULS.
- Contact your International Relations Office desk (IRO) and ask to see the CULS “Student Guide”. This includes information on all the courses you can study at CULS Prague. You can check if we offer the subject areas you are interested in. To save time we recommend that you use our web page: http://www.culs-prague.eu/en
- Students applying through the LLP ERASMUS mobility programme should choose approximately five subjects per semester (approximately 10 subjects per academic year) in order to fulfil the requirements of 30 ECTS credits per semester (60 ECTS credits per academic year). Due to the popularity of some of our courses we cannot guarantee enough places in specific subject areas.
You will obtain academic credits through the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which you can use for recognition at your home university. These schemes promote mobility of students between institutions and countries and thus allow students to transfer their credits home.
