University students experienced participation at the scientific conference, which was organized by Euroleague for Life Sciences, a network of 7 leading European life sciences universities and partner universities from New Zealand and Israel. Conference was held on November 9th and 10th 2018 at Wageningen University. “Life Sciences: looking across disciplines” was the main theme of the conference and level of study was not a key factor, therefore you could see students of bachelor, master or doctoral programmes presenting their work in a form of a poster of verbal presentation. We would like to point out that two University students were awarded prizes for their excellent verbal presentation: Josef Soukup, doctoral student at the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources, and Krešimir Begovič, doctoral student at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences.
