The traditional rowing competition on the River Vltava turned out to be highly successful for the Czech University of Life Sciences. The ladies came second in the university eights, while the men’s team finished a fine third in the same discipline. Last year’s European champions, and students at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Kristýna Fleissnerová and Lenka Antošová played their part in the success enjoyed by the ladies team. A total of 16 teams pitted their wits against each other in this increasingly-popular race. The Czech University of Life Sciences has traditionally been successful in the university eights. Last year both teams took silver, while the men also came second in 2016.
