The corner stone of a new High Tech Forestry and Wood Sciences Pavilion laid on 8 March 2018
CZU Rector Professor Ing. Petr Sklenička, the Dean of the CZU Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences (FFWS), Professor Ing. Marek Turčáni, PhD, and the deputy director of the contractor building company Metrostav Ltd., Mr Jiří Anděl, laid the corner stone of a new High Tech Forestry and Wood Sciences Pavilion on 8 March 2018. The FFWS students´ French horn ensemble performed for the guests during the corner stone laying ceremony. The High Tech Pavilion is going to become an important part of the teaching facilities at FFWS, allowing undergraduate and graduate students to learn special related to the current requirements of employers in the forestry and wood processing job market. The Pavilion will be equipped with cutting edge IT technology and high tech laboratory equipment. It will serve teachers and students of current and newly accredited study programmes.
