SCOPUS: SAB included in the second quartile

In recent days, new bibliometric data was published in the SCOPUS database, namely the new SJR index value and the placement of the Scientia Agriculturae Bohemica (SAB) journal. For SAB, the SJR index for 2016 is 0.398, and this CULS scientific journal is thus ranked in the second quartile (Q2) as 74th amongst 217 journals in the field. The SAB has been indexed in the SCOPUS database since 2012.

Dr. Manfred Raupp, a member of the Editorial Board of the University of Hohenheim, stated the following regarding the result: “CULS and SAB achieved a position in the first third of agricultural universities”.

“We owe this success not only to the diligent writers and thorough editors and opponents, but also to the members of the editorial board of the magazine,” says Editor-in-Chief and Vice-Rector for Science and Research, prof. Mgr. Ing. Markéta Sedmíková, Ph.D., regarding the rating.
