In 2018, CZU established its Global Engagement and Partnership Section (GEPS), a unit within the International Relation Office (IRO). The unit aims particularly at reinforcing international collaboration, prestige and recognition of CZU, transferring contacts, as well as experience and success stories. GEPS is focused on exploring innovative approaches in development of new partnerships and strengthening existing ones.
During its short existence GEPS has already joined the Family Farming Knowledge Platform (FFKP) which is hosted by FAO and CZU has become a regular contributor in the field of small-scale agriculture. To complement our networking activities we have started developing the CZU expertise database which will facilitate communication and search for relevant experts.
The GEPS resides within the portfolio of the Vice-Rector for International Relations, prof. PhDr. Michal Lošťák, PhD.
