From the 17th to the 20th of September, the European Association for International Education (EAIE) organised the 34th Annual Conference and Exhibition for universities in Toulouse, France. More than 300 universities from around 90 countries participated in the conference. CZU together with more than 20 other Czech universities represented Czechia at the national stand of the Study in Czechia initiative. CZU was represented by a delegation from the Department of International Relations. The participants were Ondřej Votinský, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, Radka Kalousová, Coordinator of Outgoing Students, and Ľubomír Majerník and Tereza Brůna Slámová, Internationalisation Managers.
The conference held the subtitle “en route”, which symbolises the perpetual efforts for cooperation between educational institutions. “With more than 7000 participants the 34th Annual EIAE was the largest in history. CZU proudly is counted amongst proponents of internationalisation and actively works to strengthen its international ties,” stated Ľubomír Majerník. The conference was not only an opportunity for networking, but it also involved workshops about new trends in the field of education and panel discussions on the topic of international collaboration. CZU is an important player in the international community of universities and rightfully takes pride in the role it plays in it.
