The HIVE project's first phase ended at the end of 2022. The project is heading now toward Phase 2, which would extend the project for 18 months (until June 2024). The granting authority, EIT Health, will announce the official approval of the project's second (and final) phase after reviewing the results of Phase 1 in January 2023.
During Phase 1, Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU), one of the leading medical HEI in Ukraine, was officially accepted as a beneficiary in the EIT Health Grant Agreement and joined the HIVE project. The accession and inclusion of two more Ukrainian universities for the project's next phase are under negotiation.
