Pork market conditions are very uncertain in nature. Unequal subsidy conditions on the EU market together with the gradual internationalization of the market cause significant price distortions, which negatively affect the economy of pig breeding. Difficult predictability of the situation and the development of prices in the past has discouraged many pig farmers from their efforts to "do" business in this traditional sector. As a result of not entirely ideal market conditions, the Czech Republic's self-sufficiency in pork production fell below 50%. The aim of the proposed project is to provide an effective tool for the needs of farmers which will help them orient themselves effectively in the market environment. A tool that will enable farmers to respond to changes in the environment and thus increase their competitiveness and the sustainability of the whole sector.
