As of Monday 15th November 2021, the conditions under which education can take place at universities are changing. In addition to all common areas, the obligation to wear respirators also applies to education if more than 50 persons are present together. Given the dire epidemic situation, we all must comply with these conditions. In this way, we can work together to ensure that education in the hybrid model can continue.
Nothing changes for the teaching methods, and teaching will continue to occur under the conditions set at the individual faculties. Also, the conditions that students must meet remain the same. Thus, students do not have to prove the absence of infection to participate in education and examinations.
The Prague Science Film Fest, an international festival of science documentary films taking place in Prague from October 18 to 22, will introduce spectators to teams of top scientists and adventurers from around the world. Visitors will get to know the authentic life of the natives in the forests, understand the language of whales, hear the rare owl, and discover places they would never have looked at without filmmakers. The debates with important guests will complement captivating documents. The contest of scientific documents is organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) and Palacký University Olomouc (UPOL).
The current Rector of CZU Prague, Professor Petr Sklenička, will continue to manage the university for the next four years. At its meeting on Friday, 8th October 2021, the university's Academic Senate elected Prof. Sklenička of two candidates in the first round of elections.
