Project description
The intention of the project is to enhance the quality of Cambodian higher education in technical disciplines while raising the professional prestige of the University of Battambang (UBB). The aim is then to improve the level of technical higher education at UBB through the development of science and research. The project design is based on a needs identification exercise conducted in collaboration with UBB management. The project identification is also based on the implementation team's previous experience in implementing similar projects in developing countries, including Cambodia. The present project reflects the development priorities of Cambodia as well as the Foreign Development Cooperation programme in Cambodia for the period 2018-2023. The output of the project is a tool to support and motivate young scientists to engage in the scientific research process. The target groups of the project include young scientists at the Graduate School of UBB, who will have their competencies in scientific research enhanced, while at the same time their employability in practice will be increased. They will be able to publish in prestigious journals indexed in the electronic databases Scopus or Web of Science
