Project description: The project aims to develop a feasibility study for the establishment of a food and agricultural product quality certification system and the establishment of an accredited agricultural product quality laboratory in Myanmar. The main benefit will be to increase the quality of agricultural products and thus their competitiveness in the international market, which will also increase the profits of Myanmar producers. The establishment of the accredited laboratory will also have implications for job creation, capacity building and training of local professionals through sharing of know-how necessary for effective operation of the laboratory.
