Select Europe or World according to your destination and arrange the insurance for the entire period of your mobility.

For a practical or work-related traineeship, the insurance must also include professional liability insurance.

4

Pay and download the certificate

Pay the insurance premium before your departure. Payment by card is recommended.

Download your digital insurance card and insurance certificate. The certificate must then be uploaded to UIS.

Students participating in a practical or work-related traineeship must have professional liability insurance. This coverage is mandatory.

Which insurance option should you choose?

Mobility type Recommended option Professional liability insurance

Read the Policy Conditions before arranging your insurance

The Policy Conditions specify the exact scope of the insurance, exclusions, the obligations of the insured person and the procedure to follow in the event of a claim.

What must the insurance cover?

Every outgoing student must have insurance valid for the entire mobility period. The insurance must correspond to the nature of the stay abroad and should include coverage of the following areas:

Insurance from another insurance provider is permitted.

However, CZU must verify that the insurance meets all required coverage conditions. Students arranging insurance with a provider other than ERGO must therefore expect a significantly longer approval process. CZU reserves up to 45 days for this verification.
