20 - 23 April 2026 | Prague, Czech Republic
This staff week is intended for colleagues from the International Relations Offices (IROs) of ELLS partner universities and aims to strengthen in-person cooperation within the alliance. Traditionally, the IRO group met annually in March alongside the ELLS Task Force; however, this format has recently changed. We therefore consider it important to maintain face-to-face contact and continue our close collaboration.
Prague in spring offers an excellent setting to reconnect, exchange experiences, and further develop cooperation across the ELLS network.
The programme will focus on sharing best practice, strengthening cooperation, and discussing current and future topics relevant to IRO activities, including:
- Student services
- Incoming students
- Communication within the ELLS alliance
- Summer Schools and Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)
- Questionnaire follow-up
- Changes within the new Erasmus+ Programme
- Management of International Relations Offices
The preliminary programme includes:
- Interactive sessions and group discussions
- Best-practice exchange
- Campus and city tours
- Networking
- Cultural activities
A detailed programme will be published closer to the event.

Off-campus Accommodation recommendation:
- Vienna House by Wyndham Diplomat Prague - Link (map) Good location for airport-university-city centre combination (Dejvice is a nice and safe city district)
- Hilton Prague Old Town - Link (map) Location in the city centre (the Old Town is obviously the best for sightseeing, it is in general also safe, but can get busy with tourists)
