In the Social Impact edition of the Urban Greenhouse Challenge, we challenge you to develop an urban farming site that significantly improves the quality of life of local residents in one of the most diverse lower-income neighbourhoods of Washington D.C.
Come up with a comprehensive plan to develop East Capitol Urban Farm (Washington, D.C.) into an attractive urban farming site that enables robust and resilient year-round sustainable food production. The Challenge is open to students from universities and universities of applied sciences worldwide, in all phases of their studies (BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent).
