The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) welcomes applications from international students interested in undertaking an internship or Erasmus+ traineeship within our university departments and administrative units.
Internship placements at CZU are open to students who are:

Currently enrolled at a higher education institution abroad

Applying through an Erasmus+ traineeship or another internship framework

Able to complete the internship as part of their study programme requirements

Graduate Traineeships
Please note that CZU does not guarantee placement availability in all departments, and internships are subject to internal capacity and approval.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to independently identify and contact a potential supervisor, research group, or faculty member in their academic field prior to their stay. All arrangements for the research stay, including the definition of research activities and the duration of the visit, must be made in direct collaboration with the chosen supervisor, research group, or faculty.
How you apply depends on whether you have already established a contact point at CZU:

If you ALREADY have a contact point/supervisor: You do not need to go through our general application form. You may coordinate your arrival and administrative paperwork directly with your chosen supervisor or host department.

If you DO NOT have a contact point/supervisor: We will assist you in trying to secure a position. Please complete our online application form so we can reach out to the relevant departments on your behalf.

Response Time: Applicants who submit the online form requesting department placement should expect a response within approximately 45 days after submitting a complete application.
Applicants are fully responsible for being aware of and complying with the:

Conditions for internship recognition or funding
CZU cannot be held responsible for delays or missed deadlines on the side of the sending institution.
Please be aware that internships at CZU are generally undertaken within the Erasmus+ framework or as part of a university-required placement. Students should confirm their funding arrangements in advance.
