The Partnership for Biodiversity Call 2022 is focused on research in monitoring biodiversity and ecosystem change and aims to improve our understanding of the status, trends, and dynamics of biodiversity, both in terrestrial, marine and freshwater environments.
The rules of the call for Czech applicants are based on the Environment for Life program, from which successful Czech projects will be financially supported. The total financial amount of support for Czech applicants is EUR 500,000, of which a maximum of EUR 170,000 per project. The highest permitted intensity of support for the Czech side of the project is 85% of the total eligible costs of the project. Those interested can submit abbreviated project proposals (pre-proposals) until November 9, 2022.
Projects may be submitted by international consortia composed of at least three eligible partners from at least three participating countries (of which at least two are EU members or associated countries) and must be funded by at least three different participating providers.
The call is governed by international rules common to applicants from all participating countries. In addition to international rules, Czech applicants must also meet the national rules set by the relevant national provider. Czech applicants must participate in such projects, the results of which are applicable in the conditions of the Czech Republic.
