The main objective of the project is to establish the Interfaculty Centre for Advanced Analysis of Agricultural Products at the Czech University of Life Sciences and to equip its sub-laboratories (Laboratory of Biological Effects of Natural Substances, Laboratory of Separation and Analytical Methods, Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry and Laboratory of NMR Spectroscopy) with state-of-the-art instruments and equipment. The centre itself will be created by combining modern laboratory technologies and instruments acquired within the project with the expertise of the scientific research teams ensuring the operation of two existing laboratories of the FTA and two laboratories of the FAFNP under construction, which will be located in the newly built Interfaculty Centre for Environmental Sciences (ICES II).
The complex of ICAAAP laboratories will form a logically and purposefully interconnected unit with a direct link to teaching and research activities carried out within the concerned study programmes and disciplines of both participating faculties, thus significantly contributing to the development of research, development and innovation taking place at the CZU and to the deepening and modernisation of teaching of the concerned study programmes.
