On 17 June, the CZU Food Pavilion hosted the fifth edition of the International University Canteen Championship, a culinary competition bringing together teams from university dining facilities across the Czech Republic. The trophy for the best culinary performance quite literally stayed at home, as it was won by Food Pavilion chefs Jiří Dobš and Vojtěch Kletečka.

On Monday, 15 June 2026, six recent graduates of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague received the Minister of Agriculture Award. The award is presented annually to the best student from each faculty for a master’s thesis with an exceptional contribution to practice in the fields of agriculture, forestry, food production and rural development. The award also includes a financial prize determined by the Ministry. The award ceremony traditionally takes place during the summer graduation ceremonies of the individual faculties.

On 16 and 17 June 2026, Nabočany in the Chrudim District is hosting the nationwide Naše pole 2026 exhibition, one of the major professional events focused on crop production, plant protection, nutrition, and modern agricultural machinery. This traditional exhibition offers visitors presentations on field trials, demonstrations of technological procedures, and current trends with practical applications in agriculture. The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague is also part of the professional program.

Four culinary teams will showcase their cooking skills at the International Canteen Championship, which the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague will host for the fifth time on 15–17 June 2026. CZU has two strong contenders in the competition: last year’s champion, Delirest Services, s. r. o., which runs the university canteen, and the team from the Food Pavilion. The other two teams are made up of canteen chefs from VSB – Technical University of Ostrava and the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
