Administratively, the Student Affairs Office covers the study agenda of the University. It communicates with external partners and state administration on behalf of the university in matters relating to teaching activities and students in bachelor and master’s degree programmes. The office attends to the agenda related to accreditation and maintains a central register of fields of study and programmes. The office covers the appeal proceedings of students (as part of the admission procedure at CZU, reviews of decisions on completion of studies, etc.). The office is a consulting centre for addressing issues related to studies. The office manages the agenda of fees for longer studies, including resolution of appeals. The office administers the agenda connected with accommodation and social scholarships and the agenda of the holders of scholarships of the Centre for International Cooperation. The office prepares reports for insurance companies and secures the collection of statistical data in the educational field, updating of data for admissions and the presentation of CZU. The office coordinates the creation of the schedule and ensures the creation of a central student timetable, and prepares an Academic Year Schedule. The office ensures administration related to granting student awards at the university level (Rector’s Award, Ministers’ Awards, the Hlávka Foundation Award and the Excellent Teaching Award). The office ensures recognition of foreign university education in bachelor's and master’s degree programmes (so-called validation of foreign studies and degrees).
