Participants of the course will be instructed on the basic aspects of work with information, e.g. selection of suitable academic sources, efficient work with electronical information sources (incl. work with citation databases), principles of ethics of scientific work with emphasis on citation ethics and plagiarism. Participants will examine the structure of scientific texts and study various steps of a peer review process. The course will also introduce the issues of Open Science and Open Access to scientific publications.
The course is dividend into 4 parts.

III. Ethics of scientific work, Scientific publications
IV. Open Science, Open Access
Number of lessons: 16 lessons (1 lesson = 45 minutes)
Completion of the subject: Students will receive a certificate of successful completion of the course.
