Are all the Courses offered to exchange students in English?

What's the difference between seminar and lecture?
- Lecture is once a week for all the students; seminars are for smaller groups of students and they repeat a couple of times a week.
Can we see the schedule of the courses?
- Not yet. Schedules will be available one week before the semester begins - during your Welcome Week.
Is it possible to change courses after the semester begins?
- Yes, it will be. There will be deadline and instructions to do so later on.
What if our courses overlap in the timetable?
- Then you have to change it.
When is the deadline to fill in our UIS profile?

Are the faculties on the same site or are there diffrent campuses?

Can I find out the exam format from the professor or the course now?
- No. Each lecturer/profesor can set individual rules for passing the exam. Some choose oral or written exam, others choose projects, etc.
How is it with the accommodation?
- Erasmus students have two external dormitories available. We also collected and published feedback from students of the last year regarding the accommodaiton options they used. So Erasmus students cannot stay in the CZU dormitory within the campus?
- Only the students with so-called fewer opportunities who were nominated like so by their home institution are offered a place at the CZU in-campus dormitories. Comunication with these students is individual by email.
Is the Czech Intensive course from 16th to 20th of September mandatory?
- No, it is not. We will share with you an Application form for this course later. First 40 students will be accepted.
Can we apply to other universities dormitories?
- Of course you can. Please remember that those dormitories are under the rules of other prague universities.
Is welcome week obligatory?
- It is very very very highly recommended to participate in the Welcome Week.
Could you create like whatsapp group for exchange students so that we can help each other there?
- We sent you an invitiation to WhatsApp group together with the UIS credentials.
