Agrinatura Vision and Objectives - The major institutional voice in Europe
Agrinatura and its members have common interests in supporting sustainable agricultural development to improve people’s lives. Agricultural research and education will underpin the innovations needed to increase production and productivity, feeding rapidly expanding populations, and to protect the natural resource base for future generations. Through continuous interaction with a range of European and international organisations, Agrinatura aims to ensure that the voice of European universities is heard. Agrinatura also contributes to achieving the goals of the United Nations Agenda 2030 by:
- playing a pro-active policy advocacy role for agricultural research and education for development in Europe and worldwide.
- developing, strengthening and encouraging strategic alliances, partnerships, and networks with and between the different stakeholders (institutions, organisations and individuals) in development worldwide.
- organising, facilitating and implementing joint participation in European and international programmes and projects.
- providing support and advice for evidence-based policy making, in particular at the European level.
