The Biodiversity Partnership Call 2023: "Nature-based solutions for biodiversity, human well-being, and transformative change - BiodivNBS" is launched by the Biodiversa+ Strategic Network and focuses on research in the field of Nature-based solutions (NBS - projects focused on technologies and nature-inspired solutions) for biodiversity, improving living conditions for humanity and bringing about transformative change.
TA CR is involved in this international call with the Ministry of the Environment. The call rules for Czech applicants are based on the SIGMA program (Sub-objective 4 - International Cooperation), which will financially support successful Czech projects.
The total TA CR support for the call for Czech applicants in international projects is EUR 680 000, a maximum of EUR 170 000 per project. The maximum intensity of support allowed for the Czech side of the project is 80% of the total eligible project costs.
Short project proposals (pre-proposals) can be submitted until 10 November 2023, 15:00 CET.

Projects will be open to international consortia composed of at least three eligible partners from at least three participating countries (of which at least two are EU Member States or Associated Countries).
The call is governed by international rules common to applicants from all participating countries. In addition to the international regulations, Czech applicants must comply with the national conditions set by the relevant national provider. Applicants participating in applied research projects must comply with federal requirements based on the SIGMA program (Sub-objective 4 - International cooperation). Czech applicants must participate in projects whose results are applicable in the Czech Republic.
