On Thursday, November 26, 2025, the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague welcomed a delegation from the Ukrainian office for Horizon Europe, which visited Prague as part of a two-day study trip organized by the Technology Center Prague.
During the meeting at the CZU Rector's Office, the International Grant Support Office presented the university's profile, its strategic involvement in international activities, and current projects within the Horizon Europe program to the guests. Special attention was also paid to the project support system, which enables university teams to effectively participate in international research consortia. This was followed by a tour of selected workplaces, where the delegation was introduced to the modern research infrastructure and current research activities of the CZU.
The delegation particularly appreciated the CZU's comprehensive approach to the development of international cooperation, which includes consulting in the area of project preparation, administrative support, and strategic management of the university's participation in European research schemes.
The meeting was an opportunity for CZU to establish closer contacts with Ukrainian colleagues and identify areas of mutual interest in addressing research challenges of European and global significance. Both sides expressed their willingness to further develop communication and seek specific opportunities for cooperation.
