This call is part of the Water4All European Partnership call portfolio. This is the second joint international call under this European Partnership. The main objective of this call is to support research and innovation projects to improve the long-term security of water resources.
The deadline for receiving abbreviated project proposals (pre-proposals) is 13 November 2023, 15:00 CET.
The objectives of the call are as follows:
- Mapping, monitoring, and assessment for a better understanding of ecosystem services in a context of changes, from local to global change.
- Understanding and predicting multiple pressures (including anthropogenic pressures) - impact-response relationships in ecosystem services through advanced methods and techniques.
- New tools and solutions for better integration of ecosystem services into the management of water resources.
The conditions for applicants from the Czech Republic are based on the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) SIGMA program (Sub-objective 4 - International Cooperation), from which successful Czech applicants will be funded. Czech applicants can be research organizations or private companies.
The total amount of TA CR support for the call for Czech applicants in international projects is € 450 000.
The maximum amount of support per project is 150 000 €. The maximum allowable aid intensity for the Czech side of the project is 80% of the total eligible costs.
Projects may be submitted by international consortia of at least three eligible partners requesting funding from participating funding partner organizations from three countries participating in the call. In addition to the above condition, projects must involve at least two independent legal entities from other EU Member States or governments associated with Horizon Europe as financial support beneficiaries.
The upper limit of eligible project partners in a consortium is 7, including one potential self-funding partner. There shall be at most one self-funded project partner per project consortium.
