By signing the PGA, you agree to comply with the conditions of your Erasmus+ traineeship and to use the financial support for the approved mobility. CZU undertakes to provide the financial support and administer the mobility in accordance with the Erasmus+ programme rules.
What is required before the PGA can be prepared?
- Your traineeship must be registered in UIS. Once it is registered, the Checklists button will appear in Student Portal › My Placements Abroad.
- Proof of insurance. More information is available here .
- Confirmation that the receiving organisation has accepted you. This may be, for example:
- Letter of Acceptance; or
- a Learning Agreement for Traineeships signed by the required parties.
- Bank account details entered in UIS. Erasmus+ financial support is paid in euros, so we recommend using a euro account.
- Information about your planned means of transport to the destination and back.
Once all the conditions above have been met, coordinators from the central International Relations Office will make the PGA available to you in UIS or send it to you by email.
Travel support
In addition to individual support, Erasmus+ traineeship participants receive a one-off travel allowance. The amount depends on the one-way straight-line distance between the place of departure and the traineeship destination, as well as on the chosen mode of transport.
| Travel distance | Green travel | Non-green travel |
|---|---|---|
| 10–99 km | €56 | €28 |
| 100–499 km | €285 | €211 |
| 500–1,999 km | €417 | €309 |
| 2,000–2,999 km | €535 | €395 |
| 3,000–3,999 km | €785 | €580 |
| 4,000–7,999 km | €1,188 | €1,188 |
| 8,000 km or more | €1,735 | €1,735 |
Bank account for Erasmus+ financial support
Erasmus+ financial support is paid in euros. We therefore recommend using a euro account. If the payment is sent to an account held in Czech crowns, the bank may convert it using a less favourable exchange rate.
A euro account can be opened with a bank or another financial service provider, for example Revolut . For foreign accounts, you need to know the IBAN.
- Log in to UIS.
- In My Studies, open Student Portal.
- At the bottom of the page, find My Placements Abroad.
- Select Bank Account for Study Placement.
- For the purpose, select for scholarship payments for placements abroad.
- Enter the bank country, bank name, currency and account number or IBAN.
- Either leave the account validity blank or set it approximately from one month before the traineeship until one month after the end of the traineeship.

Payment of financial support
The first instalment of the financial support is paid before the start of the traineeship, provided that all required documents have been submitted and the PGA has been signed in time. If documents are submitted late, payment may only be made after all missing documents have been provided.
The first instalment amounts to 70% to 100% of the total financial support. The exact amount and payment arrangement are stated in your PGA.
If applicable, the remaining amount is paid after the traineeship has ended and after all required documents have been submitted, including the After the Mobility – Traineeship Certificate. The final amount reflects the actual duration of the traineeship and any approved shortening or extension.
