Extending the traineeship beyond its initial duration is permissible, but it must adhere to the maximum period outlined in CZU's internal Erasmus+ regulations. According to Erasmus+ budgetary regulations, the standard duration for a traineeship is capped at 5 months. However, exceptions can be made in cases of favorable budget conditions, contingent upon individual requests. Each application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If you wish to extend your traineeship to the maximum allowable period of 5 months, you must secure approval from both the sending and receiving organizations. This extension can be facilitated by initiating changes to the Learning Agreement (please refer to the link below).
To request an extension, you must submit your application at least one month before the initially scheduled end of your traineeship. Requests for extensions submitted after the originally planned end date cannot be accommodated. It's important to note that extending your traineeship without proper notice does not grant you additional financial support.
In the event that the extension is approved, it is essential to formalize the arrangement through an addendum to the Participant Grant Agreement.
