On October 30th, the CZU International Centre hosted its biannual Erasmus Tea & Tree event.
After a month on campus, Erasmus students gathered in an informal setting to share their impressions and feedback. Over traditional Czech cookies, discussions focused on their experiences so far. Many highlighted the welcoming environment and academic support, noting they would recommend CZU as a host university.
To emphasise the importance of mental health during studies, the Counselling Centre participated in its well-being “Popcorn”. Students could take a short break and collect practical tips for maintaining balance throughout the semester.
The day concluded with a visit to the CZU Libosad, where they planted two Fagus sylvatica (European beech) trees. Known for their resilience and longevity, they serve as a lasting reminder of this shared experience and commitment to environmental responsibility.
Thank you to all participants who joined.
Together, we continue to grow; not just trees, but a community rooted in learning, inclusivity and friendship.
