Partner Universities and Erasmus+ Destinations

CZU has approximately 300 partner universities within the Erasmus+ programme (KA131), where our students can go on a study stay.

An Inter-Institutional Agreement is concluded with each partner university. It defines in which field of study the exchange can take place and how many students can be sent on a study stay each academic year.

For this reason, the partner universities in the interactive map below are colour-coded by faculty. This grouping corresponds to the fields of study covered by the individual agreements.

European Universities Alliance

CZU is a member of ELLS, an alliance bringing together leading European universities in the field of life sciences. In 2026, ELLS gained the status of a European Universities Alliance under the European Commission's European Universities initiative.

Recommended Erasmus+ Destinations ELLS universities are among CZU's most important and trusted international partners. Our cooperation with them goes far beyond student mobility and also includes teaching, research, joint programmes and other international activities. For CZU students, these universities are therefore particularly attractive destinations for an Erasmus+ study stay.

The alliance has 11 member universities, including CZU. For CZU students, this means ten partner universities across Europe:

BOKU – BOKU University, Austria
SLU – Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden
UHOH – University of Hohenheim, Germany
WUR – Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands
SGGW – Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland
NMBU – Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway
EMÜ – Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonia
L'Institut Agro – L’Institut Agro, France
UdL – University of Lleida, Spain
UNITUS – University of Tuscia, Italy

Double Degree Programmes

Another particularly close form of cooperation is represented by joint Double Degree programmes, which allow students to complete part of their studies at a partner university and obtain degrees from both institutions.

All Destinations: How Does the Interactive Map of Partner Universities Work?

The interactive map works in Google Maps and allows you to filter partner universities by faculty.
1. Select your faculty In the upper left corner of the map, click on the icon Map menu icon and select the faculty or faculties whose partner universities you want to display.
2. Open the university profile By clicking on a location on the map, you will see the partner university profile with basic information, including the university name, Erasmus code, website and a link to information for incoming students. At the same time, you will also see information from Google Maps about the location.
Video tutorial: you can also find a short tutorial on Instagram.

Partner universities should provide further information for incoming Erasmus+ students on their websites, or at least a contact email address where you can request additional information. If needed, your faculty's International Relations Office can also help you contact the partner university.
