Learning Agreement for a short-term PhD mobility

What type of Learning Agreement is needed?

The majority of short-term PhD mobility stays are realised in the form of a traineeship. This is the reason why the Learning Agreement for Traineeship, also applied for long-term traineeships, is used. If a short-term PhD mobility would be in the form of a study stay (i.e. for the purpose of studying courses and gaining credits), the Online Learning Agreement will be used - in this case, it is always necessary to consult with your Erasmus coordinator.

Learning Agreement for Traineeship for short-term phd stays

The Learning Agreement for Traineeship is a key document within the Erasmus+ programme that allows university students to complete a traineeship abroad. This agreement (contract) is concluded between the student, the sending university (CZU) and the receiving institution or company. The aim is to provide a clear framework for the objectives, content and flow of the traineeship, which includes recognition of the skills and knowledge acquired. Thus, the Learning Agreement for Traineeship serves as a binding plan to help students optimise their traineeship experience, enhance their academic performance and encourage international mobility and cooperation in the field of education.

How to fill in the Learning Agreement for Traineeship?

The Learning Agreement for Traineeship has three parts: Before the mobility, During the mobility and After the mobility.

Before the Mobility - must be filled in and fully signed before the start of the traineeship! How to complete this section is described in the Learning Agreement itself.

During the mobility - is only used if there is a change in the content or duration of the traineeship. For example, if you are approved to extend your traineeship from 5 days to 15.

After the mobility - is used always and filled in by the receiving organisation shortly before the end of the traineeship. The completed and signed After the mobility section must be delivered in original to the central International Relations Office.
