What is a short-term PhD mobility?

The new Erasmus+ programme enables PhD students to go on a short-term
exchange stay of 5 to 30 days at a partner university or other institution
(companies, non-profit organisations, research institutes, etc.)

Basic information on a short-term PhD mobility

Rules for a short-term PhD mobility

Thanks to the current budget situation is CZU able to support all applications for short-term stays of PhD students. If the budget is spent, the number of PhD mobility will be limited by the number of placements allocated to individual faculties (already applied in 2022).

For whom is PhD mobility intended?

The short-term stays are intended for PhD students without an employment contract. If the PhD student has an employment contract, it is necessary to make use of the staff mobility opportunities, about which you can find all the information on the CZU Intranet.

How to find a receiving organisation?

Short-term PhD mobility are most often realised in the form of a traineeship. The receiving organisation can be either a university or another organisation such as a company, a non-profit organisation, an institution, a research institute, etc. To find the right organisation for your stay, you can use both interactive maps, which can be found below, as well as your supervisor's contacts.
