The Project of Snail Farm wins

CZU students highly ranked in the competition “Young Entrepreneur Fellowship Programme” organised by the US Embassy  in Prague Centre for Young Entrepreneurs.

The prize giving ceremony took place at the US Embassy in Prague on 25 February 2017.The winner of the first prize was Mr. Jan Roubal, from CZU Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, with his pilot project of Snail Farms in Congo. The third prize was awarded to Mr Matyas Drevo and Tomas Pokorny, both from the CZU Faculty of Economics and Management, for their project called Dogsie, meant to supply food supplements and other items for pet dogs in animal hospices. Both projects are part of the Point One Research Incubator of CZU.

In total 20 students from around Czech Republic were participating in the competition at the American Centre in Prague. The competition was organised in accordance with the methodology published by the Smithsonian Entrepreneur Incubator“. The workshops and seminars were conducted by Czech and American experts in the area of Start Ups.
