Based on today's meeting on security at universities with the rectors, the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, and the Police of the Czech Republic, and at the same time, based on the daily meetings of the CZU Crisis Management Team, additional measures were taken to ensure security on the CZU campus.
Effective January 2, 2024, all Czech University of Life Sciences buildings in Prague will remain closed until further notice. Access to the buildings is only possible with an access card (employee card, ITIC, ISIC). Please always carry this card with you.
In addition, several other immediate and medium-term security measures were adopted, which modify the existing security strategy of CZU, but cannot be specified publicly for security reasons.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your suggestions related to the security situation and for information about any non-standard behaviour on campus, on social networks, and elsewhere. As part of prevention, it is a highly effective form of help, and we immediately process and deal with these initiatives with the Police of the Czech Republic.
Therefore, if you notice any suspicious activity or item, we continue to ask you to inform campus security immediately at +420 224 38 2222.
We apologize for any inconvenience these measures may cause. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of our university.
We will regularly inform you about current events and changes in this situation.
