What was the summer semester like at CZU? What did the academic community and the students do? Which events made their mark on the history of the university? On the pages of the university magazine, which is now coming out, we bring you the essentials of what is happening on campus and beyond.
You will read, among other things, that the President of the Republic visited us, and he was interested in some innovative teaching methods at CZU. The academic community has grown by adding more professors; the Faculty of Tropical Agriculture has a new dean, and the Faculty of Environmental Science has two laureates of the Dean's Award. You will learn about the projects of our scientists at home and abroad, as well as about the students' journeys of discovery. And also about what the ČZU canteen could look like in a few years, according to Eva Jiřičná's design.
A lot has happened at the university in this half-year as well. The Institute of Education and Counseling in Malá Chuchle celebrated its twentieth anniversary, and the Center for Counseling Services has completed its first year of existence. We organized Open Days, a Job Fair, and, for the first time, a carnival and elected the university's best athletes. We hosted several scientific conferences and expert meetings in the university auditorium.
