The 51st International Agricultural Exhibition Země živitelka will bring together everyone interested in modern trends and new technologies in agriculture from August 21 to 26, 2025. This year's common denominator of the most important event is the New Era. The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, a national leader in promoting trends for a sustainable future, educating entire generations of experts for the agricultural sector, has prepared its exhibition in this spirit.
“We will bring an interactive model of blue-green infrastructure for urban settlements to Živitelka, we will offer topics such as sustainable forest management, precision agriculture, food security, adaptation to climate change, or protection of wild and domestic animals. Through the young generation, we will explain how young people are doing on the job market today and how we can better understand them. Visitors to our exhibition will taste CZU products from the Food Pavilion, our brewery, and our vineyards near Mělník. And there will be much more, let yourself be surprised,” invites the ČZU Rector Petr Sklenička to the stand.
The university has its iron in the fire in the competition for the Golden Ear award, which the Ministry of Agriculture awards to the best exhibits. The prestigious award will be contested by a granulated complete feed mixture for broiler rabbits that meets the requirements of the circular economy.
All CZU faculties will present their topics on Země živitelka for six days. This year's new feature is a unique interactive model of blue-green infrastructure, developed by the team of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences under the leadership of Tereza Hnátková. It shows how blue-green infrastructure helps cities cope with intense rain and heat waves.
We look forward to seeing you at the České Budějovice Exhibition Center from August 21 to August 26, 2025. The CZU stand will be situated in Pavilion T2.
