Changes to Learning Agreements / Study Documents

Deadline for all changes:
31st of October 2026

Please choose the option that applies to your case.

Option 1 – Changes to the Online Learning Agreement (OLA)

If your original agreement was created via learning-agreement.eu or via your home university’s internal system, follow the video guide below.

CZU signs changed OLAs as frequently as possible.

Option 2 – Changes to the Learning Agreement (PDF version)

Choose this option if your original Learning Agreement is in PDF format. Follow the steps below to prepare and submit your Changes to the Learning Agreement.

1. Check your courses in UIS

Open your current list of courses in UIS. This is the list you will compare with your original Learning Agreement.

2. Open your original Learning Agreement

Open your original PDF Learning Agreement and check Table A, which lists your courses at CZU, the receiving institution.

3. Compare both lists

Compare the courses in your original Learning Agreement with the courses in UIS and identify the changes:

  • Deleted courses: courses listed in your original Learning Agreement that are not in UIS.
  • Added courses: courses listed in UIS that are not in your original Learning Agreement.

Example

Course In the original LA? In UIS? Record as
Tropical Agricultural Systems Yes No Deleted
Czech Language for Exchange Students A1/1 No Yes Added

4. Complete the Changes section

Use your comparison to complete the Changes to the Learning Agreement section. In the CZU template, changes to your courses at CZU are recorded in Table A2.

  • Enter each changed course, including its course code (if available), course title, reason for the change and number of ECTS credits.
  • Tick Deleted component for a deleted course or Added component for an added course.

You can download the Changes to the Learning Agreement template or use a Changes form provided by your home university.

5. Record any changes to Table B

If you have also changed Table B (courses at your home university), record those changes in the corresponding Changes section in the same way, marking courses as added or deleted.

6. Sign the document and upload it

  1. Sign your Changes to the Learning Agreement.
  2. Send the document to your home university for its signature.
  3. Once both signatures are in place, upload the signed document in PDF format using the button below.

Upload signed LA changes

After submission: CZU will sign your Changes to the Learning Agreement and send the signed document back to you by email.

If you need help, contact mobility@czu.cz.

Option 3 – Changes to the International Exchange Student Formular

This option is for NON-ERASMUS students only.

Use this option if you are a non-Erasmus exchange student and need to change the courses in your original International Exchange Student Formular. Follow the steps below to prepare and submit your Changes.

1. Check your courses in UIS

Open your current list of courses in UIS. This is the list you will compare with your original form.

2. Open your original form

Open your original International Exchange Student Formular and check its course list, including the course codes, course names and ECTS credits.

3. Compare both lists

Compare the courses in your original form with the courses in UIS and identify the changes:

  • Deleted courses: courses listed in your original form that are not in UIS.
  • Added courses: courses listed in UIS that are not in your original form.

4. Complete the Changes section

Use your comparison to complete the Changes section of the International Exchange Student Formular.

  • Enter each added or deleted course, including its component code, component name and number of ECTS credits.
  • In the column “Is the component added or deleted”, write added or deleted for each course.

You can download the International Exchange Student Formular – Changes template.

Example of a completed Changes table

Component code Component name ECTS Added or deleted
ZUX102Z Workshop 1 - Global Environmental Issues 2 Deleted
EPEC9E Psychology of Personality and Communication 5 Deleted
EHEA0E Fundamentals of Political Science 5 Deleted
ZEX101E Fundamentals of Ecology 5 Deleted
VPV176Z Environmental Education 3 Deleted
ERE25E Human Resource Management 5 Added
EREQ4E Management Skills 5 Added
ERE8CE On-line Marketing 4 Added
EUE50E Trade and Commerce 5 Added

5. Fill in your new ECTS total

Complete the New ECTS total field using all the courses you will study after the changes: your unchanged courses plus your added courses. Exclude deleted courses.

In the example above: the original total is 28 ECTS. The deleted courses account for 20 ECTS and the added courses for 19 ECTS, so the new total is 27 ECTS (28 - 20 + 19 = 27).

6. Sign the document and upload it

  1. Sign your completed Changes.
  2. Send the document to your home university for its signature.
  3. Once you and your home university have signed, upload the signed document in PDF format using the button below.

Upload signed Changes

After submission: CZU will sign your Changes and send the signed document back to you by email.
