The Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources, in cooperation with French partners from AnaEE (Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems) and CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), organized a conference entitled European Research Services on Agroecology on June 5 and 6 2023 in the Aula of CZU.
The conference was held within the framework of the important European project AgroServ (Integrated services supporting a sustainable AGROecological transition). The results of the AgroServ project, with a budget of almost 15 million EUR, will have a major impact on the future of the food system, preserving biodiversity and reducing the impact of agriculture on the climate. The consortium will work with farmers, industry, citizens and policymakers through so-called "living laboratories" and towards the creation of evidence-based policies and co-developed practices in agriculture. CZU is involved in the consortium as a representative of services for the agricultural sector with the main coordinator, Professor Lenka Kouřimská.
