This overview summarises travel insurance rules for students on study mobility, trainees, and PhD students. The general principles are the same, but some requirements differ depending on the type of mobility.

Who is the insurance for

The insurance is intended for students who travel abroad for short-term and long-term study or work-related mobility (Erasmus study mobility, CEEPUS, Erasmus traineeships, etc.). The outgoing student is obliged to arrange travel insurance for the entire period of the planned mobility.
CZU strongly recommends this travel insurance from ERGO. Insurance with another insurance company is possible. However, according to the rules of the Erasmus+ programme, CZU requires coverage of the following areas:
