Before you go abroad (preferably more than a month in advance), you need to inform your faculty that you are going on Erasmus. Therefore, you should apply for either an Individual study plan (ISP) or submit a Request for study abroad.
The requirements for an appropriate document (ISP or request) may vary from faculty to faculty and also from student to student. The most common division by faculty is as follows:
Faculty | ISP / Request for study abroad | Guide / Link to the faculty's website | Contact person |
PEF (FEM) | Request for study abroad | https://www.pef.czu.cz/cs/r-7010-mezinarodni-vztahy/r-7037-erasmus/r-14099-6-pred-vyjezdem | Veronika Brecklová, pefoutgoing@pef.czu.cz |
FAPPZ (FAFNR) | Individual study plan | will be added | iro@af.czu.cz |
FLD (FWS) | Request for study abroad | not available | Anna Filousová, filousova@fld.czu.cz Stehlík František, stehlik@fld.czu.cz |
FŽP (FES) | Request for study abroad | Request is done via the Contact Centre in the UIS. | Study Administration Office: https://www.fzp.czu.cz/en/r-9408-study/r-9498-study-administration-office |
TF (FE) | Individual study plan | not available | Radka Krejčí, krejciradka@tf.czu.cz David Herák, herak@tf.czu.cz |
FTZ (FTA) | Individual study plan | not available | Zora Fídlerová, fidlerova@ftz.czu.cz |
IVP (IEC) | Individual study plan | not available | Barbora Jordánová, jordanova@ivp.czu.cz |
For both documents, you always need to know the start and expected end of your Erasmus stay. You need to find out this information from your host university. The beginning of the so-called Welcome Week (Orientation Week) can also be considered as the beginning of the stay. The end of the stay is most often taken as the end of the examination period.
Individual study plan
Your application is based on Article 13, paragraph (1) of the Study and Examination Rules for Study in Bachelor and Master's study programmes of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
Article 13 - Individual Study Curriculum
(1) Student may request an ISC in substantiated cases; the Dean will decide on whether or not to permit the ISC. ISC allows for diving up or changing the courses of the prescribed curriculum of a certain academic year, or the study of several academic years at once. The ISC application is usually submitted by the student at the time of enrolment to the study programme, enrolment to the subsequent year, or at another time set by the Dean.
You submit your application to the Student Affairs Office of your faculty.
Request for study abroad
Your request is based on Article 6, paragraph (5) of the Study and Examination Rules for Study in Bachelor and Master's study programmes of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
Article 6 - Study Curricula
(5) Any changes in the curriculum resulting from a study stay or internship/traineeship at another university must be approved by the Dean.
You submit your application to the Student Affairs Office of your faculty. In the case of PEF (FEM), you apply to the faculty International Relations Office.
Exchange mobility in the UIS system
Once your Request for study abroad or Individual study plan has been approved, your faculty's Student Affairs Office will enter the exchange mobility into the UIS. This will open a new section in UIS under the "Student's portal", called "My placements abroad", where you will find two important features:
- Checklists: Some of the documents are uploaded to the checklists so they don't have to be sent by email.
- Bank connection for trip abroad: Here you can enter the bank account to which you want to transfer your Erasmus scholarship. We recommend entering a bank account in EUR. For more information on the bank connection, please see the section on the Grant Agreement for Participants.
